The sutures are monofilament PAPRONE* Poliglecaprone (PGCL) complies with the requirements of United States Pharmacopoeia (USP) for synthetic absorbable surgical suture and European Pharmacopoeia (EP) for sterile synthetic absorbable surgical suture
Intended use :
It is intended for use in general soft tissue approximation and is not intended for cardiovascular and neurological procedures
Actions :
PAPRONE* Poliglecaprone (PGCL) elicits minimal tissue reaction and in-growths of fibrous connective tissue. Absorbable of bio-absorbable sutures occurs by hydrolysis where the PAPRONE* Poliglecaprone (PGCL) degrades to which are subsequently absorbed and metabolized in the body. The absorption begins with loss of tensile strength followed by loss of mass. Absorption through slow hydrolytic action completed in 119 days approximately.
